    La Sociedad Asturiana de Filosofía (SAF) organizó en Oviedo los días 29 y 30 de septiembre y 1 de octubre de 2022 su VII Congreso sobre Pensamiento Filosófico Contemporáneo con el título: ¿Cuestión de Género? Filosofía, Mujeres, Feminismos. Frente a la hegemonía del androcentrismo, nos interesaba analizar cómo es y qué aporta la mirada de las mujeres al mundo y al pensamiento sobre todo para calibrar su potencial transformador. Sabemos que esta mirada y este interés no son exclusivamente filosóficos, pues tienen lugar en terrenos muy variados, pero también entendemos que la filosofía tiene bastante que aportar al pensamiento feminista y a las cuestiones de género. Por eso planteábamos este congreso como un espacio de encuentro y discusión desde posiciones y disciplinas de estudio heterogéneas. También sabemos que no hay un único tipo de feminismo, sino que dentro de sus reivindicaciones hay espacio para la discusión y para la pluralidad, empezando por la definición de mujer, sexo, género.

    The Asturian Philosophy Society (APhS) organized in Oviedo on September 29 and 30 and October 1, 2022, its VII Congress on Contemporary Philosophical Thought with the title: Gender Issue? Philosophy, Women, Feminisms. Faced with the hegemony of androcentrism, we were interested in analyzing what women's gaze is like and what it brings to the world and to thought, above all, to gauge its transformative potential. We know that this look and this interest are not exclusively philosophical, since they take place in very varied fields, but we also understand that philosophy has a lot to contribute to feminist thought and gender issues. That is why we proposed this congress as a space for meeting and discussion from heterogeneous positions and disciplines of study. We also know that there is not a single type of feminism, but within its claims there is room for discussion and for plurality, beginning with the definition of women, sex, gender.
