Impacto del COVID-19 en el turismo sostenible: un estudio desde la perspectiva estadística financiera en hoteles y alojamientos turísticos

    Este estudio tiene como objetivo investigar la influencia de la pandemia por  COVID-19 en la predicción de la insolvencia empresarial, mediante observaciones estadísticas financieras; las metodologías están compuestas en dos etapas, la primera pretende un estudio descriptivo y correlacional, mientras que la segunda, valora mediante diferenciales los resultados en la primera etapa,  determinando la existencia de  un impacto significativo.  Se puede  observar por  las variaciones porcentuales referentes a la resistencia a la insolvencia del 2015 al 2018, que las empresas aumentaron esa resistencia desde un 45% hasta un 53% , mientras  que por el contrario  las empresas que reducían su resistencia pasaban  del 55 hasta el 47%. Un comportamiento muy diferente se observa en  el 2020, cuando  sólo el 15,20% perduró en la resistencia y el 84,80% se direccionó a cualificaciones de insolvencia. Como se determinó en las premisas teóricas,  es pertinente no bajar la guardia con respecto a la pandemia COVID-19 y desarrollar  creatividad e incrementar la reflexión ante la situación del entorno, mediante la gestión de tácticas y estrategias enfocadas al turismo sostenible que permitan solventar su actividad a corto y largo plazo.

    This study aims to investigate the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on the prediction of business insolvency, through financial statistical observations; the methodologies are composed in two stages, the first one pretends a descriptive and correlational study, while the second one, assesses through differentials the results in the first stage, determining the existence of a significant impact.  It can be observed by the percentage variations referring to the resistance to insolvency from 2015 to 2018, that the companies increased this resistance from 45% to 53% , while on the contrary the companies that reduced their resistance went from 55 to 47%. A very different behavior is observed in 2020, when only 15.20% remained in the resistance and 84.80% were directed to insolvency qualifications. As determined in the theoretical premises, it is pertinent not to lower our guard with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic and to develop creativity and increase reflection on the situation of the environment, through the management of tactics and strategies focused on sustainable tourism that will allow to solve its activity in the short and long term.
