¿Quién tiene el poder? Lecciones aprendidas del COVID-19 es un ensayo académico, que busca evidenciar uno de los aspectos imperativos ejercidos por el actual problema sanitario del CORONAVIRUS. Da una introducción histórica de la evolución de la misma, con matiz político internacional, para luego adentrar al lector en los efectos inmediatos de la pandemia vivida en el Paraguay. Está basada en publicaciones y vivencias de la propia autora desde la aparición del COVID-19 en diciembre del 2019. ¿Cómo fue vista la epidemia desde lejos cuando estaba limitada sólo al país oriental donde fuera padecida por primera vez? ¿Cómo reaccionaron los países de primer mundo cuando el CORONAVIRUS toco tierra dentro de sus fronteras? ¿Cómo reaccionó Paraguay cuando le tocó el momento?, son algunas de las interrogantes respondidas en la primera parte de la lectura; antes de llegar a la tesitura de ¿Cómo afectó a la economía mundial esta pandemia? ¿Cómo afectó a la economía nacional?, y en base a estas respuestas: ¿Dónde está ubicado el poder realmente? – No política, sino económicamente hablando. Pues tras comprender que el poder social tiene raíces históricas ligadas al aspecto económico, nace una nueva interrogante. ¿Quién es el dueño o hacedor del poder? ¿Los dueños provienen de los estratos sociales altos, o esta cimentada en el pueblo? Comprender estas lecciones, será atribuible a la pandemia del CORONAVIRUS; pues algunos grupos sociales, no podrían haberlo aprendido si no hubiesen estado obligados a padecer esta crisis mundial.

WHO HAS THE POWER? LESSONS LEARNED FROM COVID 19 It is an academic essay that seeks to highlight one of the imperative aspects exerted by the current CORONAVIRUS health problem. . It gives a historical introduction to its evolution, with an international political nuance, to then introduce the reader to the immediate effects of the pandemic experienced in Paraguay. It is based on publications and experiences of the author herself since the appearance of COVID-19 in December 2019. How was the epidemic seen from afar when it was limited only to the eastern country where it was first suffered? How did first world countries react when CORONAVIRUS touched land within their borders? How did Paraguay react when the moment came? are some of the questions answered inthe first part of the reading; before reaching the position of How did this pandemic affect the world economy? How did it affect the national economy ?, and based on these responses: Where is power really located? -Not politically, but financially speaking. For after understanding that social power has historical roots linked to the economic aspect, a new question arises. Who is theowner or maker of power? Do the owners come from the upper social strata, or is it based in the town? Understanding these lessons will be attributable to the CORONAVIRUS pandemic; for somesocial groups could not have learned it if they had not been forced to suffer this world crisis
