    Cada día la arquitectura bioclimática toma más fuerza para aquellos que creían que era una moda costosa y puramente estética, la arquitectura bioclimática es sencillamente una necesidad que sigue creciendo para dar una solución y mitigar la problemática del cambio climático que hoy el planeta padece. Se puede decir que además, es un apellido que se le ha venido dando a la arquitectura, pero esto sucede a partir de que los arquitectos dejaron de preocuparse por el medio ambiente y por el confort natural del ser humano. En la actualidad existen varias corrientes de arquitectura generadas a partir de la preocupación y protección del medio ambiente como lo son la arquitectura verde, arquitectura sostenible, arquitectura sustentable, arquitectura solar, ecoarquitectura etc
