    La artrosis supone el fracaso de los fenómenos mecánicos y biológicos que actúan sobre la correcta degradación y síntesis de los condrocitos del cartílago articular, la matriz extracelular y el hueso subcondral, lo que determina la destrucción del cartílago articular.
