    En este trabajo se analiza la experiencia museística del pintor y literato Ramón Gaya, definida como numinosa. Viajero incesante, recorre numerosas ciudades, monumentos y museos que refleja en sus escritos, dibujos y pinturas. En su obra literaria esa búsqueda del numen revela el sentimiento de estar en presencia de algo importante. Asimismo, Gaya turista es fotografiado en los museos en un estado de atención que deja entrever una emoción próxima al pasmo y constituye un trasunto de los visitantes que retrata en su obra pictórica.

    This work analyzes the museum experience of the painter and writer Ramon Gaya, defined as numinous. Incessant traveler, he travels through numerous cities, monuments and museums that he reflects in his writings, drawings and paintings. In his literary work this search for the numen reveals the feeling of being in the presence of something important. Likewise, Gaya tourist is photographed in museums in a state of attention that reveals an emotion close to astonishment and constitutes a transcript of the visitors that he portrays in his paintings.
