This paper presents the case study of the Arte, Poder y Género’s social network profiles as a tool to disseminate the study of women and their relation to the arts in the Renaissance, with a special emphasis on female patrons, that sparks the interest of the wider public. Considering the academic origin of these profiles, this project pretends to teach the students the course materials through a workshop on content creation. This will allow them to comprehend the vital necessity of the transmission of scientific knowledge and how social networks are becoming the ideal spaces for this task.
