Collaborative learning methods have become a first-rate teaching method for teachers nowadays. They are also an extremely attractive learning methodology for students. As experts in the field of Art History, it is our duty to ask ourselves how to approach this methodology. Within a wide range of subjects, this paper proposes a topic that is present in the curriculums at high schools, Baccalaureate programmes, and university degrees in the humanities: Roman painting. We will cover the study of Roman painting through the representation of women through collaborative learning.
