    En este trabajo se expone una propuesta de animación lectora a partir de la lectura de la novela titulada Billy Elliot. Se trata de potenciar una mirada asertiva y coeducativa en el aula. Por un lado, para trabajar con el alumnado el autoconocimiento y la empatía y, por otro, para cuestionar los prejuicios y estereotipos de género.

    Los propósitos eran que el alumnado se implicase en las diferentes actividades, fomentar el hábito lector, vivir la lectura y disfrutar de la literatura.

    In this paper is exposed a reading animation proposal that presents the novel titled Billy Elliot as a powerful learning resource. It is about promoting an assertive and co-educational look in the classroom. On the one hand, we work with our students on self-knowledge and empathy and, on the other, we propose to reflect on gender prejudices and stereotypes.

    The purposes were to involve the students in the different activities and to foster the reading habit and, above all, to experience and enjoy literature.
