  En la evaluación de la capacidad de resistencia se utilizan test de campo o de laboratorio, con estimación o medición del V02 máx. usándose pruebas hasta la fatiga o submáximas. Para comprobar la intensidad en test indirectos submáximos se utiliza la frecuencia cardíaca (FC), el índice de esfuerzo percibido (RPE), entre otros. Algunos test submáximos extrapolan la FC final a valores de V02 máx. como en Queen's College Step Test (QCST) o Step Test de Astrand y Rhyming. El objetivo del estudio es verificar la correlación de la curva de FC entre QCST y Lunge Front Test, y la FC de recuperación del mismo test con el VO2 máx. en QCST. Se evaluó a 40 estudiantes de educación física encontrándose una relación en las curvas de FC de r = 0,852 (p < 0,0001) y entre FC de recuperación y V02 máx. r = -0,737 (p < 0,0001).

  In the evaluation of endurance capacity using field test or laboratory, to estimate or measure the V02 max. evidence being used to fatigue or submaximal. Submaximal heart rate (HR), and rating of perceived exertion (RPE), among others are, used to check the intensity of indirect submaximal test. Some extrapolating submaximal heart rate test final V02 max. as Queen's College Step Test (QCST) or Step Test of Astrand and Rhyming. The aim of this study is to verify the correlation between HR curve in QCST and Lunge Front Test, and between HR recovery of the home-made test and V02 max. in QCST. We evaluated 40 physical education students found an association in the HR curves of r = 0.852 (p
