Resumen de ¿Son subjetivos los puntos de vista?

Manuel Liz

  • The paper argues against the thesis that points of view, or perspectives, are necessarily subjective entities. On the one hand, there are many uses of the notion of points of view which cannot be interpreted in a mere subjective sense. On the other hand, the available theoretical options in order to analyse the structure and nature of points of view do not support either the thesis that points of view are subjective. Points of view have become the paradigm of subjectivity because they are supposed to entail some kind of Protagorean relativism and because they are supposed to be reducible to our subjectivity. We reject both arguments.
