Resumen de Necesidades del personal que atiende/previene violencia intrafamiliar contra mujeres en una región de México
Resumen: Este reporte corresponde a una investigaciónrealizada entre 2010 y 2011 en México con el propósitode conocer: a) las instituciones y características de dichopersonal; b) sus necesidades y/o difi cultades que enfrenta;y c) sus concepciones bajo un enfoque de género. Para elprimer aspecto se realizó un censo institucional, para losotros dos se aplicaron entrevistas semi estructuradas aveinte personas. Los principales resultados muestran que76% de quienes prestan estos servicios son mujeres, quetrabajan en 12 instituciones. Refi eren como necesidadesfalta de personal y capacitación. The study had three goals: 1.- Identifythe number of institutions and the characteristics ofpublic servants who attend to and prevent domesticviolence against women. 2.- Analyze the needs and issuesthese public servants face. 3.- Analyze their conceptionsrelated to gender. For the fi rst goal a census of allinstitutions in the region was conducted; for the othertwo, twenty people were interviewed. Results reveal that76% of them are women, working at 12 institutions.
