En los 90 años de funcionamiento de la Escuela Central de Educación Física múltiples circunstancias han ido perfilando una estructura, una tradición, una metodología y una forma de entender la Educación Física que, finalmente han dado como resultado la peculiaridad que como centro formador de técnicos y titulados distinguen a este Centro. En el presente artículo se pretende ofertar una visión global que abarque desde su historia hasta su actual estructura y posibilidades de actuación en función de sus fines específicos y de sus medios docentes.

In the 90 years of operation of the Central School of Physical Education many circumstances have had been develop structure, a tradition, a methodology and a way to understand the Physical Education that, at the end, have had arrived in the special personality that like a teaching training for technicians and graduates give to this center a special quality. This article aims to offer a global vision, from its history to its current structure and an actuation possibility in functions of it’s specifically goals and its teaching possibilities.
