Resumen de Verdades significantes: o cómo incluir lo político en la ciencia

Zenaida Yanes Abreu

  • To accept the social character of scientific knowledge is a challenge for the Contemporary Philosophy of Science. The object of reflection changes and it is imperative that our discipline studies the goals of science and decision making process, rather than analyzes the structure of theories. The model of Well Ordered Science proposed by Philip Kitcher is an example of this new direction. The purpose of this paper is to show how the concept of significant truth can fit social and political elements with rationality.
