Resumen de Gestión de calidad y crecimiento empresarial: Análisis bibliométrico

  El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar la gestión de calidad y su influencia en el crecimiento empresarial a partir de un análisis bibliométrico sobre la producción científica en la temática desde el año 1999 al año 2018. Se parte de una revisión de documentos científicos especializados en la base de datos Web of Science (WoS), en donde se identificaron 2.514 artículos científicos, seleccionando un total de 309 publicaciones como base para la aplicación del análisis bibliométrico. Se analizó la contribución científica por países y continentes, la metodología empleada en cada trabajo y se identificaron los principales tópicos, entre otras variables. Entre los resultados se destaca que el año de mayor productividad fue el 2018, siendoInternational Journal of Quality & Reliability Management la revista que más publicaciones ha realizado sobre el tema. Se concluye que la gestión de calidad se ha convertido en un factor influyente en el crecimiento de las empresas, considerándose como una práctica dominante en el desarrollo de las mismas.

  The objective of this work was to analyze quality management and its influence on business growth from a bibliometric analysis of scientific production on the subject from 1999 to 2018. It starts from a review of scientific documents specialized in the Web of Science (WoS) database, where 2,514 scientific articles were identified, selecting a total of 309 publications as the basis for the application of bibliometric analysis. The scientific contribution by countries and continents was analyzed, as well as the methodology used in each work, and the main topics were identified, among other variables. Among the results, it stands out that the year with the highest productivity was 2018, with the International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management being the journal that has published the most publications on the subject. It is concluded that quality management has become an influential factor in the growth of companies, being considered as a dominant practice in their development.
