Resumen de The Singular Thought Strategy and the Content of Perception

Marc Artiga Galindo

  • It is standardly assumed that some of our thoughts are singular and that in some cases these singular thoughts are grounded in experience. Recently, some people have argued that these two claims show that the content of experiences should also be singular. This is what I call the ‘Singular Thought Strategy’. In the paper I argue that the Singular Thought Strategy is flawed. I show that the fact that we have singular thoughts and that they are grounded in experience does not support the claim that the contents of experience are singular.
