The aim of this paper is to show some shortcomings on certain criteria to individuate what is said. Our strategy is twofold: First, we will analyze the criterion of what is said proposed by I Stojanovic in her latest book, What is said (Stojanovic 2009), and show how it fits within the theoretical landscape on the matter. Secondly, some counterexamples, will be provided in order to show that the aforementioned criterion is both too strict and too liberal.
