Resumen de La biblioteca Deichman Bjørvika di Oslo

Antonella Agnoli

  • Deichman Bjørvika is more a city than a library. It is a place where citizens come first. An urban project to regenerate a part of the port area along the fjord. It was built through a creative process that involved citizens, staff, architects and others. A place with no doors, no physical barriers, full of light and seats “with a view.” A place where you can do almost everything, like the grandmother sewing something for her newborn niece. A place full of works of art, of furnishings that create space. The books are there but in a large public space, in a place where full citizenship is created.
