Los códigos del recluso

    El sentimiento de que "no hay justicia", la continua convivencia con defraudaciones y otros delitos, la impotencia del individuo frente a otros individuos representantes del poder, la inseguridad respecto a las necesidades elementales componen todo un entramado que coloca al individuo en la situación anímica de necesitar, junto con otros individuos que se hallen en similar situación, de la creación de un código diferente que les permita salvar parcelas de su individualidad.

    Obviamente, este código tiene su origen en la reacción del recluso frente al nuevo entorno que se le impone, que comporta un cambio total en sus hábitos diarios, con rígidas normas disciplinarias, a las cuales debe adoptar su régimen de trabajo y residencia, su comportamiento y conducta y, en definitiva, su "modus vivendi".

    The feeling about there is "no justice>", the continous coexistence with deceits and other offences, the impotence of the individual facing other persons that symbolize the power, and the basic necessities uncertaintity constitutes a framework which makes the person feel the necessity of the creation of a different code allowing them to preserve some parts of their individuality, like other persons in a similar situation.

    Obviously, this code has its origin in the prisoner´s reaction to the new environment imposed on her/him which involves a complete change in his/her daily habits with strict disciplinary rules to which he must adapt her/his work, his behaviour and, finally, his "modus vivendi".
