Resumen de ¿Piropo o Acoso Sexual Callejero? Un análisis jurídico con perspectiva de género

  Mas de una mujer relata una experiencia donde uno o varios hombres se han dirigido a ellas expresándoles verbalmente o no verbal contenido sexual, sin que ellas lo permitan o lo reclamen, creando con ello la jerarquía poder sumisión. Esta situación la sociedad la ha venido aceptando, naturalizándola y normalizándola privando así a la mujer a vivir en un ambiente seguro, conociendo que todos tenemos derechos a vivir en un ambiente sano, el derecho a la vida, seguridad, derecho a la autonomía y a la libertad. El objetivo de este artículo es presentar la investigación sobre la afectación social de la mujer en espacios públicos que provoca el “piropo” o actos de naturaleza sexual hacia la mujer como un acoso sexual callejero. Con el propósito de identificar como maneja jurídicamente el Ecuador este tipo de vulneración de derechos de la mujer en referencia de otros países. Finalmente, se analiza y se estudia los posibles remedios legales para sancionar y retraer estos comportamientos contra la integridad de la mujer buscando así que sea tipificado el acoso sexual callejero

  More than one woman recounts an experience where one or more men have addressed them verbally or non-verbally expressing sexual content, without them allowing or claiming it, thus creating a hierarchy of sub-missive power. Society has been accepting this situation, naturalizing and normalizing it, thus depriving wom-en of the right to live in a safe environment, knowing that we all have the right to live in a healthy environment, the right to life, security, the right to autonomy and freedom. The objective of this article is to present the research on the social affectation of women in public spaces caused by "piropo" or acts of a sexual nature towards women as street sexual harassment. With the purpose of identifying how Ecuador legally handles this type of violation of women's rights in reference to other countries. Finally, it analyzes and studies the possible legal remedies to sanction and retract these behaviors against the integrity of women, seeking to criminalize sexual street harassment
