  El artículo pretende hacer un recorrido por la historia constructiva de la iglesia parroquial de la localidad de Mairena del Alcor. El templo fue construido en el último tercio del siglo XIII en uno de los puntos más altos de la localidad y cerca del castillo de Luna. A lo largo de estos ocho siglos el templo ha sufrido grandes y variadas reformas hasta llegar al estado actual.

  The article aims to take a tour through the construction history of the parish church in the town of Mairena del Alcor. The temple was built in the last third of the 13th centrury on one of the highest points in the town and near the Castillo de Luna. Throughout these eight centuries the temple has undergone great and varied reforms until it reaches its current state.
