    El artículo analiza el lugar de los medios en la construcción de experiencias y sentidos sobre inseguridad, dando cuenta de hallazgos y claves teórico-metodológicas que aportan al abordaje del difuso poder de los medios en ese fenómeno. Es parte de una investigación realizada en la ciudad de Córdoba entre 2016 y 2018, en la que indagamos sobre las relaciones entre el sistema mediático, las transformaciones del espacio público y el vínculo del género periodístico policial con los modos en que los sujetos experimentan la inseguridad. En términos metodológicos, implicó la realización de un estudio multisituado que, desde una perspectiva socioantropológica, indagó sobre la producción, los textos y la recepción de noticias televisivas sobre inseguridad emitidas por tres canales de televisión de aire de esta ciudad. De este modo, recorrimos las distintas instancias de articulación en las lógicas de producción de sentido en torno a la inseguridad en sociedades mediatizadas.

    The article analyzes the place of the media in the construction of experiences and meanings about insecurity, giving an account of findings and theoretical-methodological keys that contribute to the approach of the diffuse power of the media in this phenomenon. It is part of an investigation carried out in the city of Córdoba between 2016 and 2018, in which we inquire about the relationships between the media system, the transformations of the public space and the link between the police journalistic genre and the ways in which subjects experience insecurity. In methodological terms, it involved carrying out a multi-sited study that, from a socio-anthropological perspective, investigated the production, texts and reception of television news on insecurity broadcast by three air television channels in this city. In this way, we went through the different instances of articulation in the logic of production of meaning around insecurity in mediated societies.
