El objeto de nuestro trabajo es, analizar algunas de las cuestiones que se están planteando en este momento, entre otras, la matriz electrónica, así como algunas excepciones a la presencia física del notario con los otorgantes, por medio de videoconferencia. Ello requiere un análisis sosegado de estas cuestiones, analizar el porqué se ha llegado a estos planteamientos, y el intentar dar soluciones que sean lo más acordes, con los principios básicos que sostienen y pivotan en la función notarial.

he aim of the article is to analyse some of the issues that are currently being raised, such as the electronic matrix, as well as some exceptions to the physical presence of the notary vis-à-vis the grantors, by means of videoconference. This requires a reasoned analysis of the matters, analysing why such conclusions have been reached, coupled with an attempt to provide solutions that are most consistent with the basic principles that support and rely on the notarial function.
