Resumen de What if we're not producing knowledge? Critical reflections on the rhetorical criticism of science

Alan G. Gross

  • Gaonkar's criticism should be taken less as dismissal than as admonition. In future neo‐Aristotelian work, the mechanical rhetorical redescription of the texts of science must be avoided, and a continuing reflexivity concerning theory must be encouraged. Intertextuality must be forthrightly addressed, and the case study method more systematically employed. Moreover, these tasks must be undertaken while continuing to struggle with the primary texts and actual practices of the sciences as the central objects of study.
