Resumen de Quina «reina de Mallorques» és l’autora del poema contingut al Cançoner Vega-Aguiló?

El Cançoner Vega-Aguiló, pertanyent a la Biblioteca de Catalunya, conté un poema de caràcter amorós, la rúbrica del qual l’atribueix a una innominada «reina de Mallorques». Al llarg del temps, s’ha especulat sobre la identi-tat d’aquesta reina poeta, la composició de la qual hom ha acostumat d’atribuir a Constan-ça, esposa de Jaume III. Tot i així, el monarca mallorquí va contreure un segon matrimoni amb Violant de Vilaragut, candidata també, per tant, a ésser-ne l’autora. Tot això en el benentès que hàgim d’interpretar literalment la rúbrica. En tot cas, fent servir documenta-ció fins ara inèdita, en aquest article exposam un seguit de circumstàncies que fan descarta-ble l’atribució a Constança en els termes plan-tejats tradicionalment, sempre que l’autora sigui una veritable reina de Mallorca.

The chansonnier Vega-Aguiló, belonging to the Library of Catalonia, contains a love poem, the rubric of which attributes it to an unnamed «Queen of Majorca». Over the years, there has been some speculation as to the identity of this queen-poet, which has customarily been attributed to Constance, wife of James III. However, the Majorcan monarch entered into a second marriage with Violante of Vilaragut, who therefore is also a candidate to be the author. All of this on the understanding that the rubric is to be interpreted literally. Altogether, based on documents unpublished up to this point, in this paper I expound a series of circumstanc-es that enable the attribution to Constance to be ruled out in traditional terms, as long as the author is a true queen of Majorca.
