Resumen de Educación virtual en las carreras de Ingeniería CUNORI

  OBJETIVO: analizar el nivel de aplicación de la educación virtual en las carreras de ingeniería Civil, en Ciencias y Sistemas e Industrial del Centro Universitario de Oriente. MÉTODO: el tipo de investigación fue descriptiva y para el análisis de los resultados se utilizó el método hipotético- deductivo con enfoque mixto. La población estuvo conformada por 250 estudiantes y 22 docentes. En el caso de los estudiantes, se hizo uso del instrumento didáctico Análisis Didáctico de las Estrategias de Enseñanza de Cursos Universitarios en Red, ADECUR. En cuanto a los docentes, se les hizo llegar una guía de entrevista estructurada con el fin de profundizar en el fenómeno de estudio. Los datos fueron tabulados con el software del Programa Estadístico para las Ciencias Sociales SPSS en su versión 26. RESULTADOS: la hipótesis general de investigación: Hi:  La educación virtual en las carreras de Ingeniería Civil, en Ciencias y Sistemas e Industrial del Centro Universitario de Oriente -CUNORI- se aplica en un nivel medio, fue aceptada, pues el 50.0% de los estudiantes aplican la educación virtual en sus dimensiones: ambiente virtual, aprendizaje, objetivos, contenidos, actividades y secuenciación, evaluación y acción tutorial, recursos y aspectos tecnológicos en un nivel “medio”. CONCLUSIÓN: se concluye que los docentes aplican de forma regular la educación virtual por lo que se debe tomar acciones administrativas y académicas de mejora.

  OBJECTIVE: to analyze the level of application of virtual education in Civil, Science and Systems and Industrial Engineering careers at the Centro Universitario de Oriente. METHOD: the type of research was descriptive and the hypothetical-deductive method with a mixed approach was used for the analysis of the results. The population consisted of 250 students and 22 professors. In the case of the students, Didactic instrument of Analysis of the Teaching Strategies of Online University Courses, ADECUR, was used. As for the professors, a structured interview guide was sent in order to deepen into the study phenomenon. The data was tabulated with the software of the Statistical Program for Social Sciences SPSS in its version 26. RESULTS: the general research hypothesis: Hi: Virtual education in the careers of Civil, Sciences and Systems and Industrial engineering of the University Center of Oriente -CUNORI- is applied at a medium level, was accepted, since 50.0% of the students apply virtual education in its dimensions: virtual environment, learning, objectives, contents, activities and sequencing, evaluation and tutorial action, resources and aspects technology at a "medium" level. CONCLUSION: it is concluded that professors regularly apply virtual education, so administrative and academic improvement actions must be taken.
