    La relación interpersonal profesional-paciente-familia se establece a partir de la necesidad de ayuda que ocasionan los problemas de salud, y se hace necesario que la enfermera valorela presencia de déficit de autoestima ya que la propia enfermedad o sus efectos producen con frecuencia sentimientos de in-capacidad en las personas, que incidirán en su autopercepción.En el campo de la práctica enfermera, entendida como relación de ayuda, se considera de gran importancia que los profesionales sean capaces de manejar aspectos relacionados con laautoestima, ya que ello permite establecer, con los pacientes ysus familias, relaciones que promueven el desarrollo personal.En estas circunstancias tanto la identificación del problema por parte de la enfermera como las medidas dirigidas a promoverla autoestima resultarán beneficiosas para el paciente y su familia.

    The professional interpersonal relationship patien-family, is established as of the need of help that cause the health problems and is made necessary that the nurse value the deficitpresence of self-steem, since the own disease or its effects produce frequently feelings of disability in the persons, that will impact in their self-perception. In the field. In the field of the practical nurse, understood as relationship of help, is considered of great importance that the professionals will be able to handle aspects related to the self-esteem, since this will permits to establish, with the patients and their families,relationships that promote the personal development. In these circumstances the identification of the problem on the part of the nurse as well as the measures directed to promote the self-esteem will result beneficial for the patient and his family.
