Resumen de Enriqueciendo la representación de ambiente asociada a las curtiembres a partir de una visión agroecológica. Un análisis de intervención educativa con jóvenes del barrio San Benito

  Desde el punto de vista de la agroecología, el agroecosistema es visto de manera holística, puesto que, se integran diferentes esferas de conocimiento las cuales se relacionan unas con otras, mostrando así una percepción más integral del ambiente. El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo enriquecer la representación de ambiente de jóvenes de 18 a 24 años habitantes del barrio San Benito, relacionada a las curtiembres puesto que es una problemática socioambiental compleja, el barrio es conocido por la cantidad de contaminación que presenta, además es una actividad que influencia se manera económica y cultural a las personas de la zona.Para ello, se aplicó una encuesta semiestructurada después de una intervención didáctica enfocada a reconocer las relaciones y elementos en los diferentes ejes del ambiente y las curtiembres desde un ámbito agroecológico, dando como resultado dos tipos de representaciones una naturalista/antropocéntrica y otra relacional ambiental/antropocéntrica, en donde se evidencian componentes no solo sobre los aspectos naturales del ambiente, también hay articulación hacia temas políticos, sociales y culturales que giran en torno al ser humano.Se evidenció que desde una temática estructural como lo es la agroecología, es posible ampliar la representación de un problema socioambiental e incluso promueve pensar en una solución, sin embargo, se hallan influencias ecologistas que lo limitan, de manera que en estos procesos es clave que se lleven desde lo interdisciplinar para proyectar una formación crítica ciudadana como punto de partida para el cambio social, donde la enseñanza de la biología tiene un papel crucial.

  From the point of view of agroecology, the agroecosystem is seen holistically, since it integrates different spheres of knowledge that are related to each other, thus showing a more integral perception of the environment. The objective of this study was toenrich the representation of the environment of young people from 18 to 24 years old, inhabitants of the San Benito neighborhood related to tanneries, since it is a complex socio-environmental problem, the neighborhood is known for the amount of pollutionit presents and it is also an activity that influences economically and culturally the people of the area. A semi-structured survey was applied after a didactic intervention focused on recognizing the relationships and elements in the different axes of the environment and the tanneries from an agroecological perspective, resulting in two types of representations, one naturalistic/anthropocentric and the other relational environmental/anthropocentric, where components are evident not only on the natural aspects of the environment but there is also articulation towards political, social and cultural issues that revolve around the human being. It was evident that from a structural theme such as agroecology it is possible to broaden the representation of a socio-environmental problem and even promotes thinking about a solution, however, there are environmental influences that limit it, so in these processes, itis key that they are carried from the interdisciplinary to project a critical citizen training as a starting point for social change where the teaching of biology has a crucial role.
