La ciudad como espacio para la neurosis: el cine de Woody Allen y la serie "Fleabag" (2016-2019)

    El presente artículo analizará las divergencias neuróticas que se camuflan en el espacio urbano de la ciudad fílmica contemporánea: aquellas rupturas sutiles que se relacionan con la vida en la urbe y que están vinculadas al malestar de la metrópolis hiperestimulante, que perviven en la ciudad posmoderna. Así, se aplicará un marco conceptual derivado de las propuestas de autores como Georg Simmel, Sigmund Freud, Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze y Felix Guattari sobre el trastorno y el psicoanálisis, para centrarnos en el estudio de dos casos concretos: por un lado, el cine del reconocido neurótico Woody Allen, muy relacionado con Nueva York, pero también con algunas capitales europeas. Por otro, la más reciente serie de televisión Fleabag (2016-2019), creada por Phoebe Waller-Bridge, ambientada en el Londres contemporáneo.

    This paper will analyse the neurotic divergences that are disguised in the urban space of the contemporary filmic city: those subtle ruptures that relate to life in the city and are linked to the malaise of the hyper-stimulating metropolis, which survive in the post-modern city. Thus, we will apply a conceptual framework derived from the proposals of authors such as Georg Simmel, Sigmund Freud, Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari on neuroses and psychoanalysis to focus on the study of two specific cases: on the one hand, the films of the renowned neurotic Woody Allen, closely related to New York, but also to some European capitals. On the other, the most recent television series Fleabag (2016-2019), created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, set in contemporary London.
