    Las recientes disputas sobre el “teorema de Pitágoras” sugieren que Pitágoras no tuvo nada que ver con él, pero haciendo ingeniería inversa del proyecto, comenzando con el Timeo 53C de Platón, construyendo el cosmos a partir de triángulos rectos, y mirando hacia atrás, tal vez podamos ver un nuevo enfoque que conecte la geometría y la metafísica del triángulo rectángulo, y en consecuencia a Pitágoras con el teorema, y además el de Tales antes que él?

    Recent disputes about the “Pythagorean theorem” suggest Pythagoras had nothing to do with it, but by reverse engineering of the project, starting with Plato’s Timaeus 53C, building the cosmos out of right triangles, and looking backwards, perhaps we can discern a new approach that connects the geometry and metaphysics of the right triangle, and consequently Pythagoras with the theorem, and perhaps even Thales’ before him?

    De récents débats sur le « théorème de Pythagore » suggèrent que Pythagore n’aurait rien à voir avec celui-ci, mais, en procédant à l’ingénierie inverse du projet, à partir du Timée de Platon (53c), en construisant le cosmos à partir de triangles rectangles, et en remontant en arrière, nous pourrons peut-être entrevoir une nouvelle approche qui relie la géométrie et la métaphysique du triangle rectangle, et par conséquent Pythagore, au théorème, et, peut-être aussi, à Thalès avant lui ?
