    El presente artículo tiene como objetivo determinar la conexidad entre los principios de libertad, autonomía moral y dignidad en relación con el derecho a la vida respecto a la eutanasia en América Latina. Para lograr lo anterior, se examinan esos principios rectores presentes en algunas constituciones latinoamericanas que han sido identificados como parte fundamental en el argumento de la eutanasia; también se analiza al derecho a la vida en relación con la muerte digna y, se estudia el contenido normativo y jurisprudencial existente en países pertenecientes a dicha región geográfica que han tenido una evolución jurídica significativa sobre este tema.

    The objective of this article is to determine the connection between the principles of freedom, moral autonomy, and dignity in relation to the right to life regarding euthanasia in Latin America. To achieve this, it examines these guiding principles present in some Latin American constitutions that have been identified as a fundamental part of the euthanasia argument; it analyzes the right to life in relation to dignified death and, it studies the existing regulations and jurisprudence in countries belonging to the Latin American region and that have had a significant evolution on this issue.
