El objetivo general de la presente investigación fue analizar el modelo de gobierno abierto para la participación ciudadana. El planteamiento realizado por los investigadores para el desarrollo de la metodología fue a partir de la metodología desde el enfoque cuantitativo, mediante la indagación, recolección y análisis crítico documental y referencial bibliográfico, basándose en la exploración metódica, rigurosa y profunda de diversas fuentes documentales conformadas por artículos, tesis y trabajos arbitrados entre otros, describiendo los hallazgos encontrados. Se recurrió, además, al método inductivo-deductivo. Se concluye, que el modelo de Gobierno Abierto para la participación ciudadana representa un paradigma para la mejora de la gestión pública de los gobiernos nacionales y locales de nuestra región, en la cual existe muchas debilidades en la administración de los recursos económicos y humanos detectándose hechos de corrupción, por lo tanto, es necesario la participación activa de los ciudadanos como garantía de una mejor gestión pública.
The general objective of this research was to analyze the open government model for citizen participation. The approach taken by the researchers for the development of the methodology was based on the methodology from the quantitative approach, through the inquiry, collection and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references, based on the methodical, rigorous and deep exploration of various documentary sources consisting of articles, theses and refereed works, among others, describing the findings. The inductive-deductive method was also used. It is concluded that the Open Government model for citizen participation represents a paradigm for the improvement of public management of national and local governments in our region, in which there are many weaknesses in the administration of economic and human resources, detecting acts of corruption, therefore, the active participation of citizens is necessary as a guarantee of better public management.
