    Se tiene por objetivo analizar el impacto turístico de la fiesta de la fruta y de las flores de Ambato – Ecuador. De tipo descriptiva. El 75% de los turistas que visitan la Provincia de Tungurahua no conocen el verdadero significado de las Fiestas de las Frutas y de las Flores solo el 25% conoce que es gracias al terremoto del Cantón Ambato. La Fiesta de las Frutas y de las Flores es una costumbre bastante apetecida por los turistas pero que carece de valor cultural en la misma. Por una parte, se considera que la ciudad de Ambato es una gran potencia turística en la cual sus pobladores deben concientizar el mejoramiento de sus festividades para atraer a los turistas ya sean nacionales o extranjeros.

    The objective is to analyze the tourist impact of the fruit and flower festival of Ambato - Ecuador. Descriptive type. 75% of the tourists who visit the Province of Tungurahua do not know the true meaning of the Festival of Fruits and Flowers, only 25% know that it is thanks to the earthquake in Ambato. The Festival of Fruits and Flowers is a custom that is very popular among tourists but lacks cultural value. On the one hand, it is considered that the city of Ambato is a great tourist power in which its inhabitants should be aware of the improvement of its festivities to attract tourists, whether national or foreign.
