The objective of this article is to describe and characterize the psychosocial interventions and their support devices for migrant students in elementary schools in the commune of Santiago, Metropolitan Region of Chile. The research was qualitative, exploratory and descriptive through semi-structured interviews, which were directed to members of the psychosocial teams of schools with a high percentage of foreign students’ enrollment. This document shows the facilitators and obstacles that the psychosocial teams in the schools face on a daily basis, and how these affect the students’ learning. As a result, it is possible to point out that although there are devices for intervention with migrant students, these are structured and mostly try to solve administrative aspects, but not linked to their socioemotional and family development, which also contribute to the migration and educational process of the students.
