Resumen de Cuidado del agua en Zona de Reserva Campesina - ZRC del corregimiento San Isidro, Pradera, Valle del Cauca, Colombia

  En el mundo contemporáneo, el Estado y el mercado no ofrecen salidas viables a las crisis ambientales, energéticas y sociales. Se evidencia, por el contrario, un papel mucho más importante de las comunidades en el cuidado y protección de la vida. En este artículo de investigación se presenta la perspectiva comunitaria para el cuidado del agua en la ZRC de San Isidro, Pradera, en el Valle del Cauca, Colombia. Para ello, se hizo una identificación y caracterización de las prácticas agroecológicas alrededor del agua en 15 agroecosistemas tradicionales de las familias campesinas de la Asociación Agrocomunitaria El Porvenir (Agropor), con posición geográfica (central) X: 1099161,92533 m y Y: 867378,93744 m (bajo el sistema de referencia de coordenada Magna Sirgas Colombia-Oeste) y con altitudes que varían de 1300 a 2000 msnm. La metodología de Investigación-Acción-Participación comprendió también el establecimiento de indicadores y subindicadores que permitieran evaluar y cuantificar la variable en cada uno de los 15 agroecosistemas seleccionados a partir de una visita de verificación en campo, aplicando una entrevista semiestructurada. Se encontró que la comunidad se organiza para cuidar el agua, para criar el agua fuera de las lógicas de despojo y destrucción de las sociedades modernas que la conciben como recurso. Lo político, lo comunitario y lo territorial se entretejen para enfrentar la asimétrica batalla contra el capital. Se concluye que el agua forma parte de la cultura comunitaria, de la comunidad misma, del territorio, y que la producción agroecológica de alimentos contribuye al cuidado del agua

  In the contemporary world, the State and the market do not offer viable exits to environmental, energy and social crises. On the contrary, there is a much more important role of communities in the care and protection of life. This research article presents the community perspective for water care in the ZRC of San Isidro, Pradera, in Valle del Cauca, Colombia. To do this, an identification and characterization of the agroecological practices around the water was made in 15 traditional agroecosystems of the farming families of the El Porvenir Agro-Community Association, Agropor, with geographical (central) position X: 1099161,92533 m and Y: 867378,93744 m (under the Magna Sirgas Colombia-West coordinate reference system) and with altitudes ranging from 1300 to 2000 meters above sea level. The Research-Action-Participation methodology also included establishing indicators and subindicators that allowed the evaluation and quantification of the variable in each of the 15 agroecosystems selected from a verification visit in the field, applying a semi-structured interview. It was found that the community is organized to take care of water, to raise water outside the logic of dispossession and destruction of modern societies that conceive it as a resource. The political, the communitarian and the territorial are interwoven to face the asymmetric battle against capital. It is concluded that water is part of the community culture, of the community itself, of the territory and that agroecological food production contributes to water care.
