Tratamiento actual de las clases II-1 sin extracciones en el paciente en crecimiento

    El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el estado del arte sobre la tratamiento de maloclusiones de Clase II y describa brevemente nuestra filosofía clínica y técnica sobre su tratamiento en el paciente en crecimiento. Los cinco básicos Los pasos son: debe comenzar el tratamiento a tiempo (demasiado temprano es demasiado largo y demasiado tarde es ineficaz), la coordinación, al mismo tiempo, la ortopedia y tratamiento de ortodoncia, el uso ecológico de la musculatura y erupción fuerzas, el uso de fuerzas ligeras e intermitentes con la mínima cantidad de aparatos y el control del movimiento de los dientes de ortodoncia y la fricción diente a diente. Describimos también el protocolo para nuestro diagnóstico (según a los tejidos blandos y desde el ángulo nasolabial), la primera opción selección del aparato (según el área de maloclusión y el biotipo de paciente), los criterios para la selección de brackets y alambres en cada fase de tratamiento y nuestra política de retención intermitente.

    The objetive of this article is to analyze the state of the art about the treatment of Class II malocclusions and describe briefly our clinical philosophy and technique about its treatment in the growing patient. The five basic steps are: you have to start the treatment on time (too early is too long and too late is ineffective), the coordination, at the same time, the orthopaedic and orthodontic treatment, the ecological use of the muscular and eruptive forces, the use of light and intermittent forces with the minimum amount of appliances and the control of the orthodontic tooth movement and the friction tooth-by-tooth. We describe also the protocol for our diagnosis (according to the soft tissues and from the nasolabial angle), the first choice appliance selection (according to the malocclusion area and the biotype of the patient), the criteria to the selection of brackets and wires in each phase of treatment and our policy of intermittent retention.
