  Este artículo expone de manera clara y sencilla lo que es el análisis musical de tres boleros de autores costarricenses.

  Ellos, con su música, nos legaron una herencia valiosa e imperecedera.

  El lector encontrará el texto y la música de tres íconos de la canción costarricense.

  Dichas obras fueron seleccionadas según el criterio del autor de este artículo, debido a su relevancia en la historia musical de Costa Rica.

  Quédate amor, del compositor Víctor Hugo Berrocal (1947), Noche inolvidable, de Ricardo Mora (1915-1994) y Cartaginesa, del compositor Carlos María Hidalgo (1924-1997), tienen varios aspectos en común. Ritmo, melodía, armonía y letra son los elementos más valiosos y destacados de estas composiciones musicales.

  Revivir y analizar estos temas es el objetivo fundamental.

  Considero oportuno aportar, para conocimiento de los lectores, elementos musicales básicos y esenciales de cualquier bolero.

  Los instrumentos musicales utilizados, así como la correspondiente notación musical es el aporte personal, ya que sobre la música costarricense se ha hablado mucho, pero se ha escrito poco.

  This article exposes in a clear and simple way, to a musical analysis of three boleros of Costa Rican authors. They, with their music, they bequeathed a valuable and very important inheritance to us.

  The reader will find the lyrics and the music of these three jewels of the Costa Rican songs.

  These works were chosen at random, without leaving of side its significant importance in the musical history of our country.

  Quédate amor of the composer Víctor Hugo Berrocal (1947), Noche Inolvidable of the brilliant Ricardo Mora (1915-1994) and Cartaginesa of the composer from Palmares Carlos Maria Hidalgo (1924-1997) has several aspects in common. Rhythm, melody, harmony and lyrics are the most valuable and outstanding elements of each one of these musical compositions.

  To remember and analyze these elements is my main objective.

  I consider opportune to contribute to the readers, the basic and essential elements of any bolero.

  The used musical instruments, as well as the corresponding musical annotation is the contribution that I try to leave, since on the wealth of Costa Rica it has been spoken much, but at issue musical comedy has been written few.
