Resumen de Ciudades sostenibles y turismo sostenible: enfoque desde las realidades compartidas

  La investigación procura una clarificación conceptual de ciudad sostenible y turismo sostenible, que propicie los puntos de encuentros que permitan dejar a un lado el paradigma crítico de ruralidad del turismo sostenible. Para ello, se utilizó la metodología documental con valoración hermenéutica capaz de confrontar las conceptualizaciones planteadas. La nueva dimensión urbana sostenible está vinculada a la Agenda 2030 de Naciones Unidas con las metas del ODS-11, asimismo el turismo sostenible se sustenta en el ODS-5. La ciudad y el turismo sostenible encuentran un punto común en los requerimientos sociales, económicos y ambientales, que buscan superarse a la luz de la nueva visión que requiere la constante meta de minimizar los efectos negativos sobre el ambiente, para mitigar el avance de la crisis climática global, la reducción de la pobreza y acceso a servicios públicos, de salud y educación, para finalmente impulsar la rentabilidad económica de los servicios turísticos sostenibles en la ciudad u otros espacios que sean resilientes ante amenazas naturales.

  The research seeks a conceptual clarification of sustainable city and sustainable tourism, which promotes meeting points that allow to put aside the critical paradigm of rurality of sustainable tourism. For this, the documentary methodology was used with a hermeneutical assessment capable of confronting the proposed conceptualizations. The new sustainable urban dimension is linked to the United Nations 2030 Agenda with the goals of SDG-11, likewise sustainable tourism is based on SDG-5. The city and sustainable tourism find a common point in the social, economic and environmental requirements, which they seek to overcome in light of the new vision that requires the constant goal of minimizing the negative effects on the environment, to mitigate the advance of the global climate crisis, the reduction of poverty and access to public services, health and education, to finally promote the economic profitability of sustainable tourism services in the city or other spaces that are resilient to natural threats.
