Las mujeres en la cohesión social como mecanismo para la paz en Venezuela

    Este artículo intenta mostrar una realidad sobre la paz en Venezuela, cuya reflexión se basa en el papel que han jugado las mujeres en la cohesión social como un mecanismo de resistencia, resiliencia y de solidaridad, bajo escenarios complejos, en la incertidumbre y bajo una constante agresión a la esperanza de los pueblos que buscan ser libres y soberanos. Las mujeres siempre están en el lugar de la batalla cotidiana. Esto nos lleva a resignificar la concepción de la paz bajo un clima de guerra no convencional, buscando las irregularidades, los quiebres y las nuevas subjetividades en la mirada del cuidado de la vida.

    This article tries to show a reality about peace in Venezuela, whose reflection is based on the role that women have played in social cohesion as a mechanism of resistance, resilience and solidarity, under complex scenarios. Faced with an uncertain horizon, and with a constant attack over people’s hope who seek to be free and sovereign, women are always in the place of daily battle and resisting those attacks that affect the country. This leads us to redefine the conception of peace under a climate of unconventional war, looking for irregularities, breaks and new subjectivities in the care of life and with it the construction of strategies for survival. From the perspective of women’s rights, it is pertinent to identify different forms of war: One is the feminization of poverty and class; oppression and subordination due to the excessive burden of care work (paid and unpaid), the intimate space, coexistence in pandemic and post-pandemic; and finally, what has been the tension for parity in political participation
