    O estudo foca a emergência da interioridade na Idade Média, através do estudo das canções do primeiro trovador, Guilherme, duque da Aquitânia. Propõe-se problematizar a pertinência do conceito de indivíduo aplicado à Idade Média e analisar o lirismo amoroso dos trovadores provençais, como uma das formas de interioridade que aparecem, no século XII, no Ocidente Europeu.

    This article explores the emergence of the inner-self in the Middle’ Ages, through the study of the songs written by the first troubadour, William, Duke of Aquitaine. The work proposes to raise questions about the relevancy of the concept of self applied to the medieval period and analyze the loving lyricism of the provincial troubadours, as one of the forms of inner-self manifestations that appear, in the XIIth century, in the Western Europe.

    Cette recherche s’intéresse à l’émergence de l’intériorité au Moyen Age, à travers l’étude des chansons du premier troubadour, Guillaume duc d’Aquitaine. Il s’agit d’interroger la pertinence du concept d’individu appliqué au monde médiéval, en analysant le lyrisme amoureux des troubadours provençaux, comme forme d’intériorité semblable à celles qui apparaissent au XIIe siècle dans l’Occident européen.
