El artículo pretende acercar a los lectores algunos detalles administrativos sobre el registro, gestión y control de los individuos y unidades condecorados con las diferentes insignias de la Real y Militar Orden de San Fernando, incluyendo las Medallas Militares, que se realiza mediante una base de datos histórica, que hace accesible la información sobre las circunstancias de su concesión así como la elaboración de listados o tablas atendiendo a uno o varios criterios

The article aims to bring to readers some administrative details on the registration, management and control of individuals and units decorated with the different insignia of the Royal and Military Order of San Fernando, including the Military Medals, which is carried out through a historical database, which makes available the information on the circumstances of its concession as well as the preparation of lists or tables according to one of several criteria.
