El siguiente artículo compara las obras de tres artistas centroamericanos contemporáneos: Isabel Ruiz, de Guatemala, Luis Morales Alonso, de Nicaragua y Roberto Lizano de Costa Rica. Se contextualiza su producción y se compara la lectura de sus obras con las remanencias prehispánicas y contemporáneas utilizadas por cada uno, así como características de circulación y percepción.
