    La importancia de la Pertinencia de las carreras agronomía, agroindustria y veterinaria en la Universidad Estatal de Bolívar, se inicia valorando la envergadura de la educación en general de cualquier persona, varios de los desafíos y cambios por los que atraviesan las Instituciones de Educación Superior surgen a partir de la globalización, es por esta razón, que la pertinencia de las carreras universitarias generalmente tiene un papel fundamental en la calidad de la educación que aparece como un objeto pragmático el cual se adapta a todas las necesidades y suposiciones que tiene la sociedad para poder acoplarse a un entorno competitivo y muy dinámico. Es importante tener varias perspectivas para un pleno desarrollo de la academia, especialmente dentro decada una de las carreras en las cuales es necesario orientar, definir y direccionar a cada uno de los perfiles profesionales hacia la buena práctica social y así poder elevar los estándares de calidad de la educación. Esta investigación tuvo un enfoque mixto, cualitativo con base al análisis de la pertinencia de las carreras de agronomía, agroindustria y medicina veterinaria en la Universidad Estatal de Bolívar y cuantitativo con el empleo de una encuesta dirigida a los estudiantes secundarios y una entrevista realizada alos profesionales en las áreas especificadas anteriormente, permitiendo tener un mejor paradigma acerca de la pertinencia tomada en las carreras y su influencia en el desarrollo social local, regional y nacional. Después del proceso investigativo, se obtuvo que los procesos de pertinencia funcionan debido a la contribución en la investigación colectiva e individual, ya que estos ayudan al desarrollo de los problemas sociales del entorno local.

    The importance of the relevance of the agronomy, agro-industry and veterinary careers at the State University of Bolivar, begins by valuing the scope of education in general of any person, several of the challenges and changes that the Higher Education Institutions are going through arise from globalization, It is for this reason that the relevance of university careers generally plays a fundamental role in the quality of education that appears as a pragmatic object which adapts to all the needs and assumptions that society has in order to be able to adapt to a competitive and very dynamic environment. It is important to have several perspectives for a full development of the academy, especially within each of the careers in which it is necessary to guide, define and direct each of the professional profiles towards good social practice and thus be able to raise the quality standards of education. This research had a mixed approach, qualitative based on the analysis of the pertinence of the careers of agronomy, agroindustry and veterinary medicine at the State University of Bolivar and quantitative with the use of a survey directed to high school students and an interview conducted to professionals in the areas specified above, allowing to have a better paradigm about the pertinence taken in the careers and their influence on the local, regional and national social development. After the research process, it was obtained that the pertinence processes work due to the contribution in collective and individual research, since they help the development of the social problems of the local environment.
