Resumen de Análisis de errores y variables sociolingüísticas:: cómo escriben los estudiantes de primer año de universidad

En la educación superior, existe preocupación por el desarrollo de las competencias de escritura, preocupación que en Chile se agudizó al obtener los resultados de la Evalua-ción Nacional Diagnóstica de la Formación Inicial Docente (END) aplicada a estudiantes de niveles terminales de carreras de Pedagogía. Este estudio de caso pretende identificar el estado actual del nivel de escritura de los estudiantes de primer año de Pedagogía de una universidad chilena y las dimensiones que resulta necesario fortalecer a lo largo de su proceso formativo. Para ello, se comparan los resultados obtenidos por este grupo con los que alcanzaron los alumnos de esa misma carrera en la END, a través del método de análi-sis de errores y considerando cuatro factores que inciden en el aprendizaje. Los resultados señalan que los alumnos de primer año se encuentran en los niveles de desempeño más bajos y que los errores de sus textos se concentran en los planos estructural y ortográfico.

In higher education, there is concern for the development of writing skills, a concern that was exacerbated in Chile when obtaining the results of the National Diagnostic Assessment of Initial Teacher Education applied to students of terminal levels of Pedagogy careers. This case study aims to identify the current status of the writing level of first-year Pedagogy students at a Chilean university and the dimensions that are necessary to strengthen the length of the training process. To do this, the results obtained by this group are compared with those obtained by the students of the same degree program at the National Diagnostic Assessment, through the method of error analysis and four factors that affect learning. The results indicated that the first-year students are in the lowest performance levels and the errors in their texts are concentrated in the structural and orthographic planes.
