En el presente artículo analizo las características generales del clero revolucionario de la diócesis de Badajoz durante el Trienio Liberal, basándome en la represión eclesiástica absolutista, llevada a cabo por el Tribunal Diocesano de Badajoz, entre los años 1824 y 1825, dentro del período histórico conocido como Década Ominosa.

In this article I analyze the general characteristics of the revolutionary clergy of the diocese of Badajoz during the Liberal Triennium, based on the absolutist ecclesiastical repression, carried out by the Diocesan Tribunal of Badajoz, between the years 1824 and 1825, within the historical period known as the Ominous Decade.
