    Desde que se creó dicho mecanismo y actualmente con las situaciones adversas producidas por el Covid 19, la revisión por pares ha jugado y juega un papel de gran importancia en la Comunicación Científica. La labor a título gratuito que desarrollan los revisores juega un papel destacado en la mejora continua de la calidad académica de los artículos publicados. La retroalimentación producida a través de la lectura crítica beneficia a los investigadores, lectores, estudiantes y a todos aquellos que forman parte de la producción científica. Algunos de los árbitros que se invitaron inicialmente, aceptaron realizar tan loable labor, pero debido a que han enfermado de Covid 19 se han visto obligados a declinar. Agradecemos a todas y todos los académicos que han apoyado el esfuerzo de la comunicación científica de la Revistade Geografía Agrícola, estudios regionales de la agricultura mexicana.

    Since this mechanism was created and with the current adverse situations caused by the Covid 19, the peer revision has played and plays a very important role for the Scientific Communication. The work for free developed by the reviewers plays a leading role for the continuous improvement of the academic quality of published articles. The feedback created through critical reading benefits researchers, readers, students and all those who are part of the scientific production. Some initial arbitrators initially invited, agreed to carry out this laudable task but they have been forced to decline because they have fallen sick with Covid 19.
