Resumen de Ricordo di Gaetano Messina
Gaetano Messina, 1927-2020, was a rare person with prominent competence in at least four areas: Italian language and literature, Greek, Presocratics (notably Empedocles), Antonio Rosmini. Moreover, he served as the editorial secretary of this «Giornale di Metafisica» for almost thirty years. I take it as a privilege the opportunity to say something about him and offer a survey of his considerable industriousness in many fields.
