    TRAS UN PANORAMA GENERAL QUE PLANTEA LOS PROBLEMAS DE USO Y DISTRIBUCIÓN DEL AGUA, EL TEXTO EXPLICA POR QUÉ CONOCER LAS ESTRATEGIAS Y ACIERTOS DE PROGRAMAS EXITOSOS EN EL MANEJO DEL AGUA, COMO EL DE CIUDAD UNIVERSITARIA PODRÍA PROMOVER EL INTERCAMBIO DE EXPERIENCIAS Y TECNOLOGÍAS, ADEMÁS DE FOMENTAR UNA MEJOR CULTURA DEL USO DEL AGUA.

    After offering an overview that introduces the problems of use and distribution of water, this article explains why learning about the strategies and accomplishments of succesful water management programs, like that implementes on the UNAM central campus, could help to promote an exchange of experiences and technologies, in addition to promoting an enlightened culture of water use.
