Resumen de Cuidados postoperatorio inmediato en una unidad de cuidados intensivos en la cirugía de un aneurisma aorto-abdominal. Caso clínico.

  Se trata de un proceso enfermero individualizado referente a un paciente operado de urgencia por una rotura de aneurisma aorto-abdominal y que fallece a las 72 horas en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de un centro hospitalario. Dicho estudio se realiza desde que sale del quirófano y se traslada a UCI hasta su óbito.

  Ha sido necesario en primer lugar hacer una revisión exhaustiva bibliográfica sobre cuál es el concepto de aneurisma, tipos, fisiopatología, consideraciones gerontológicas, manifestaciones clínicas, valoración, hallazgos diagnósticos, tratamiento médico y tratamiento de enfermería.

  Se ha elaborado un proceso enfermero individualizado con una valoración según las necesidades de Virginia Henderson y aplicadas a este caso. A continuación, seleccionar los diagnósticos más representativos según la taxonomía NANDA II, distinguir los tipos de diagnósticos enfermeros, los problemas de colaboración y por último elegir los objetivos principales (NOC), las intervenciones (NIC) con las actividades más representativas.

  Se ha tenido en cuenta una visión holística de este paciente. No es sólo muy importante saber la historia actual del paciente, si no tener en cuenta como era anteriormente, su patología previa, su entorno social, sus ocupaciones, sus inquietudes.

  This is an individualized nursing process referring to a patient who underwent emergency surgery for a ruptured aorto-abdominal aneurysm and who died within 72 hours in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital center. This study is carried out from the moment he leaves the operating room and is transferred to the ICU until his death.

  In the first place, it was necessary to carry out an exhaustive bibliographic review on the concept of aneurysm, types, pathophysiology, gerontological considerations, clinical manifestations, evaluation, diagnostic findings, medical treatment, and nursing treatment.

  An individualized nursing process has been developed with an assessment according to Virginia Henderson’s needs and applied to this case. Next, select the most representative diagnoses according to the NANDA II taxonomy, distinguish the types of nursing diagnoses, collaboration problems and finally choose the main objectives (NOC), the interventions (NIC) with the most representative activities.

  A holistic view of this patient has been taken into account. It is not only very important to know the current history of the patient, but to take into account as it was previously, his previous pathology, his social environment, his occupations, his concerns.
