    La reprobación de unidades de aprendizaje es más común de lo que debiera ser, eneste problema académico influyen diferentes factores que se diagnóstica en este trabajo deinvestigación. El objetivo principal es determinar el índice de reprobación de las unidadesde aprendizaje con mayor incidencia y las causas que lo originan, para establecerestrategias que logren disminuir el rezago en por lo menos un 50%. La metodologíautilizada es del orden cuantitativo y cualitativo, se diseña y aplica un instrumento al 100%de los estudiantes en activo de los periodos tercero, quinto y séptimo. Se interpretan yanalizan los resultados para establecer las estrategias de recuperación y disminuir el rezagode reprobación

    The failure and learning units is more common than it should be, in this academic problem influence different factors that are diagnosed in this research. The main objective of this work is to determine the rate of failure of learning units with higher incidence and the causes that originate it, to establish strategies that can reduce the lag by at least 50%.The methodology is quantitative and qualitative, an instrument is designed and applied to 100% of active students in the third, fifth and seventh periods. The results are interpreted and analyzed to establish recovery strategies and reduce the delay of failure
